This site has been highly recommended by a number of those learning/studying/practicing ASL. It provides video examples of an extensive vocabulary for free on the site, and also offers paid-for even more extensive software as well.

I'm contemplating whether to buy a copy myself.
Except that I would have to figure out how to make it run under Linux. Since they're only about $3.00 each, it's not like they're overpriced. ;-)
