While I haven't been running my weekly Saturday ASL study groups for some time now, there are still many ASL-related groups very actively running throughout the greater Spokane area. See the Links and Meetings sections of this site for the various active gatherings.

If you have an ASL study group, Deaf chat, or other signing or Deaf / Hard of Hearing community activity / event, please let us know by sending email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will list your activity in the meetings and/or Links section of the spokaneasl.com website.
The study guide used to facilitate the weekly ASL Study Group has once again had some minor updates. It is available for download as a PDF that you can of course print. Feedback is welcomed for improving it. Happy signing!
By request from others, we are moving the Saturday ASL Study group time from Noon, to now begin instead at 2:30 pm every Saturday at Cafe Delicio on 2301 N. Monroe, Spokane, Washington. Hope to see everyone there. This is effective beginning Saturday, 10, 2011. Happy Signing!

For my ASL III Winter 2007 report I researched a topic near and dear to me: Martial Arts. Of course this was with the added information of the Deaf community. I hope to become proficient enough in signing that I can help teach members of the deaf community Kung Fu where I'm currently an assistant instructor at.
